How can organisations Self-Serve?
Self-Servicing is the feature in Volunteer Plus which enables organisations to:
- Login
- Register
- Update their profile
- Add new opportunities
- Update their existing opportunities
Self-Servicing is delivered by using the Volunteer Plus API, either by using one of our dedicated volunteering websites or integrating the API in your existing website.
Each contact at an organisation has the ability to self-serve on behalf of the organisation. You may decide some contacts should not have the ability to Self-serve, in this case their self-servicing account can be disabled.
Once the API is set up, organisations can register, log in to their account to update their information, add new opportunities and update existing ones.
How do I know when an organisation registers or submits an opportunity?
A notification can be sent to your Volunteer Centre team when an organisation registers online using the E-mail Notifications. A welcome e-mail can also be sent to the volunteer using the E-mail Templates.
