Troubleshooting
Error when sending an email from Volunteer Plus
This can occur for a number of reasons but is usually due to the recipients email address. It is most likely that a hard bounce has occurred or the email address has reported our server as spam.
If it is a hard bounce this would suggest the email address is invalid and does not exist, therefore you should contact the recipient to check the email address is correct. If you’re sure the address is correct please contact us.
If the email address has reported you for spam we’ll be unable to reactivate the email address until we have spoken to the recipient. Contact us for further assistance.
I’m not receiving any email notifications
If you’re not receiving any email notifications there’s a few things to check:
- Is the email address entered correct?
- Email notifications will be sent from outbound@volunteerplus.org.uk. Whitelist this address with your email provider.
- Are the notifications in your spam/junk folder?
