Opportunity Expiry Reminder Email

In Volunteer Plus an email can be activated to automatically remind an organisation when their opportunity is due to expire (Advertising End Date). The email will be sent 30 days before the opportunity will expire, on the Advertising End Date.

How can I activate this email?

To activate this email go to  Settings > Email Templates > Opportunity Expiry Reminder

To begin click Active to activate the email followed by entering the Message you would like to send.

Can I personalise the email?

Yes, the email can be personalised for the opportunity by using the available  Email Tags.

For this email you can use the [opportunity] tag to insert the opportunity name and the [expiry_date] tag to insert the opportunity expiry date (Advertising End Date).

Who will the email be from?

The email will be from your Volunteer Centre name and email address specified in Settings > Volunteer Centre.

What time will the email be sent?

Emails are sent at 9am every day (including weekends).

How can I disable the email?

To disable the email (e.g. stop the email from being sent automatically) select the Inactive option and click Save.
